    Goal: Reinforce extended behavior and introduce proofing techniques.

  • Day 5 – Hands-Free Practice & Field Trip

    Goal: Test learned skills in a real-world setting with minimal guidance.

    Training Focus:

    • Using a hands-free leash or drop leash setup

    • Practicing without actively holding the leash

    • Taking a field trip to a pet-friendly area

    • Requiring the dog to think independently while still responding to cues

  • Day 6 – Advanced Distance Recalls

    Goal: Strengthen recall through distance, distraction, and duration variations.

    Training Focus:

    • Long-distance recalls with high-level distractions

    • Switching between leash-free and controlled recall

    Goal: Test your dog’s skills in a near off-leash or fully off-leash setting.
